Empowering

Creative Harp Lessons are a means of tapping into vast reservoirs of creative music energy by allowing your fingers to explore the strings. Each exploration with the strings is a piece of creative music however long or short.

Everyone has the ability to become musical and the simplicity of the harp enables this talent to easily manifest into reality.

These lessons provide an opportunity to empower your life through music by exploring your own creative music potential. All are welcome and no musical experience is required; just an interest to create your own harp music!

You will be taught to play both structured and intuitive harp music and as you progress you will learn some music theory to increase your understanding of your creative harp music.

Healing

During lessons you will be encouraged to release mental and emotional blocks to clear pathways to connect to your intuition which will free up your own creative musical talent.

Studies have revealed that the harp offers many healing benefits and these lessons provide an opportunity to tap into this powerful source of healing energy from the harp. Creative Harp Lessons offer a safe haven to cultivate your own musical potential to improve your health and increase confidence in your life.

Incorporated into lessons is the Emerald Alignment, as taught by Rainbow Light Foundation, which is a relaxing energy field alignment to encourage creative energy to flow through your body and into the strings. Lessons also include the Light Voice Heart Tone to balance the energies of the heart, which will enhance your creative connection to the harp.

Ancient

Lesson contents will vary depending upon your needs, musical interests and creative style. The simple musical technique taught is rooted in the principles of harmony within ancient music.

Brief History of the Harp
The word ‘harp’ originates from the Anglo-Saxon word meaning ‘to pluck’. It is the oldest known stringed instrument and originated from the hunter’s bow. Harps were considered sacred in Ancient Egypt and images of harp-like instruments have been found in French cave paintings dating back to 15,000 BC.

The harp and its close counterpart the lyre have been used for healing since ancient times: In the bible, David played the harp to relieve Saul’s depression; and Pythagoras played compositions on the lyre as Music Medicine to heal the soul.
